Terms of Service

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form the agreement between you and Schoedel Systems Design LLC, doing business as Schoedel Design (“Schoedel Design,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), for any training or workshop you register for through this site. If you register on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Registration and Payment

Registration is complete once we receive your payment. Payments are processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your full card details. Seats are reserved in the order registrations are received, up to the stated capacity for each training.

You will receive a confirmation email at the address you provide. If you do not receive one, contact us so we can confirm your seat.

3. Fees

Fees are shown at the time of registration and are stated in U.S. dollars. Fees are non-refundable except as provided in Section 4 below.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds are available up to 24 hours before a training’s scheduled start time. Because we plan staffing, materials, and capacity based on enrollment, we cannot offer refunds within 24 hours of the start time, on the day of the training, or after the training has taken place.

To request a refund, email us at support@schoedeldesign.ai before the 24-hour cutoff. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe and generally appear within 5–10 business days.

Seat transfers. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your seat to another person at no charge by notifying us before the training begins.

5. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Substitution by Us

Occasionally we may need to cancel or reschedule a training due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or events beyond our control. If we cancel a training, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to a rescheduled session. If we reschedule, we will offer you a transfer to the new date or a full refund if you cannot attend.

We may substitute an instructor or adjust a session’s agenda or materials when necessary, provided the training’s core objectives are preserved.

6. Intellectual Property and Materials

All training materials — including slides, handouts, recordings, templates, and code — are owned by Schoedel Design and are provided exclusively to registrants for their personal or internal business use. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or publicly share training materials without our prior written consent.

7. Recordings and Privacy

If a session is recorded, we will let you know in advance. Recordings are made available only to registrants of that training and may not be shared or redistributed. We will not use your name, likeness, or contributions in promotional materials without your permission.

8. Code of Conduct

We are committed to a respectful and inclusive learning environment. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from a training without a refund.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Trainings are provided for educational purposes and do not constitute professional, legal, or financial advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schoedel Design’s total liability arising out of or related to a training is limited to the amount you paid for that training, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your registration applies to that registration.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
